Specialty Ministry

Specialty Ministries

Getting to use your special gifts and skills in a ministry setting is one of the most special things you can do. There are all types of ways you can give the Lord your talents by getting involved and offering your special nitch to serve others. Our “in reach” ministries include grounds & facilities care, set-up & welcome, tech & sound, vocal or instrumental for worship, deacon & deaconess ministries, women’s ministry, pastoral care, pastoral counseling, young adult outreach, helping with VBS, Kitchen & meals coordinating, repair, gardening, wilderness trails upkeep, hiking ministries and more.

Wilderness Trail Work Day

Fellowship at Cross Creek is named such because we sit on 26 acres of Ozarkian land. Our property has a park, a baseball field, woods, walking trails and a creek – Cross Creek – with beautiful waterfalls. So each spring or fall we get to dig in the dirt together and get our hands dirty to spruce up the grounds. It is supposed to feel like work but somehow, if seems pretty fun! Yep, it’s a ministry!

“I sacrifice because I have been sacrificed for.”

Making You Feel Welcome

Making you feel welcome from the moment you enter our 8 foot wooded doors takes some pretty special people and some pretty dynamic smiles. This ministry is special for the ones that volunteer to do it because YOU are special. This specialty ministry wants to help you feel like a part of the Fellowship family from the time you walk in to the time you walk out.

“Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)

Church Spring Cleaning Day

Who doesn’t like a clean house? We are the same here. Each spring a willing entourage gets together for our annual spring cleaning day, not only dusting and sweeping but sorting out the children’s ministry closet, the work shed and various other nooks and crannies that tend to collect items over time. And, oh yeah, we whistle while we work!

“Fellowship has become my family. God has led me to help with a variety of things, often in the simplest way. It is a delight to work along side brothers and sisters for God’s glory.”

Facility & Grounds Upkeep

With 26 acres, a log cabin over 18,000 sq feet, a ball field and creeks and wilderness trails, there is a lot of upkeep around Fellowship. A ministry in and of itself to keep it all maintained and running welcomes those who like to get their hands dirty!
